Events and Partnerships Executive

As an executive of Events and Partnerships at Kickstart Global, you will work with a team to plan, organize and execute events with societies across London. Such events have included pub crawls, game nights and networking opportunities in the past, however there is freedom to brainstorm and plan other events of interest to you. A main aspect of your focus within the team is widening and building Kickstart relationships with societies and companies through establishing official partnerships.

Interests / Skills / Experiences:

Interest in the startup and entrepreneurship sector, with a keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this field.

● Enthusiasm for event planning and management, with a creative mindset towards delivering unique and engaging experiences

● While not mandatory, familiarity with or experience in startup accelerators would be an advantage.

Strong organisational abilities and effective communication capabilities.

A keen interest in aiding peers in establishing their businesses.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Planning, organising, and executing a wide variety of events, ideally within the education or startup sectors.

● Working in a collaborative environment, effectively liaising between team members, external partners, and industry professionals.

● Handling logistics and administrative tasks related to event management, such as scheduling, transportation, catering, and venue set-up and break-down.

● Understand aspects of marketing and promoting events, and collaborating effectively with the marketing team.
